About AGNWG   

AGNWG was founded in January of 2008 in response to the growing desire of local artists to implement new and expanded programs in art education, promotion, and art appreciation. 

It is our goal to enrich the lives of our current membership, as well as the lives of people in the broader community. We seek to establish new friendships through a connection of creativity and expression in the form of fine art.

What We Provide:  

We offer a number of different programs, including social gatherings, monthly demonstrations, online competitions, monthly art receptions, as well as member spotlights, newsletters, an art blog, an art discussion forum, and links to other organizations and events. Demonstrations are held during our monthly meetings in Dallas.  

Our Mission:

  • To broaden artistic endeavors in a creative venue.
  • To enrich lives through exposure to the arts.
  • To assist our members in expanding their artistic skills and creativity.
  • To provide venues for the display and marketing of member artwork.
  • To provide venues for learning about different aspects of art.
  • To provide a forum where artists, art lovers, groups and associations can connect with one another.

 What We Hope to Achieve:

  • Art appreciation through education and promotion.
  • Greater exposure for artists in Northwest Georgia.
  • Growth of the Guild through involvement in the community.
  • Expanded networking between artists and other art associations.
